It gives us great pleasure to invite you to our Tour de l'Art – From N2E2S2W – Past2Present which will take place on Sunday May 13th, 2012.  To those of you who are interested in this artistic venture, please block your agenda accordingly and if possible already confirm your participation now.  The agenda of the day looks as follows :

  • < 09.30 am  All to arrive at the Royal Museum for Central Africa, located at the Leuvensesteenweg 13, B-3080 Tervuren (Brussels).  Parking available across the street from the Museum.
    [*]10.00 – 11.30  Guided tour through one of the world's most fascinating and visually striking institutions devoted to Africa, incl. as a research institute to study the impact of this ever-changing continent.
    [*]11.30 – 12.30  Roadbook tour direction Antwerp
    [*]12.30 – 13.30  Reception at the atelier Eitye Dimma Poulsen, an artist who has seen and lived the world from Ethiopia to Tanzania to Kenya to Denmark to France to end up in art loving Belgium.  For those of you who want to learn more, please visit http://www.etiye.com.
    [*]13.30 – 14.30  Lunch at the atelier
    [*]14.30 – 16.30  Free or personal guided tour by Etiye herself
    [*]> 16.30 Closure of the day

    Participation to this one day is event is Euro 25 per person which includes guided tour at the Royal Museum for Central Africa, drinks and lunch at the atelier of Etiye Dimma Poulsen.  Thanks to the artiste as well as Leonhard's Gallery, we are able to offer you this great opportunity of private viewing the works of / meeting personally with the artiste in her atelier and experience where she gets her inspiration and how she works in creating such beautiful art.  Attached, you can already get a taste of some of her creations as an appetizer.
