AMOC Area 19 and local Aston Martin dealer Murray Motors took part in the Balvaird Charity Fun Day today which was in aid of: Help for Heroes; Tayside Cash for Kids and Tayside Dermatological Skin Cancer Research Fund.

Present were 100 Supercars from all over Scotland ranging from Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Bentley to Porsche and many others.

Other clubs displaying were:
Ferrari Owners Club.
Porsche Owners Club.
Rolls Royce Enthusiasts Club.
Bentley Drivers Club.
TVR Ecosse.
Jaguar Enthusiasts Club Scotland.

Plus there were numerous ‘Specials’ including a Ferrari Enzo, a Ferrari Scuderia Spider 16M, a Rolls Royce Woody, a Bentley Hillclimb Racer and an absolutely spectacular one off Bentley Road Racer from Private Collections.

Non car related activities included:
Par 3 Golf Competition – Hole in 1 challenge to win a new BMW 1 Series.
Clay Pigeon Shooting.
4x4 Off-road Driving.
45 Royal Marine Commando Display.
Police Dog Display.
Fire Services.
Armed Forces.

The weather on Saturday night meant that the event came very close to be being called off but, on the day, we were blessed with about the only clear blue skies in Scotland.
