Good weather yesterday thankfully and a rather too brief visit to Bicester. I believe I counted 37 Astons in the AMOC parking area, plus a couple more dotted around the event.  Small selection of pics here. Many more available but didn't want to focus on individual cars too much in case owners may prefer I didn't.IMG_1182[1].jpg  IMG_1186[1].jpg  IMG_1214[1].jpg  IMG_1217[1].jpg

I was only able to stay for 3.5 hrs, so I really didn't get time to dwell on anything. Others will have seen more, no doubt. First of all Bicester Heritage Centre is an old RAF base, easy to get to from the M40. I didn't have time to properly explore but there seems to be a fair amount of interesting work ongoing there all-year. Parking and access was pretty straightforward despite some queues into and through town. It was dry of course, so not sure what it would have been like after a lot of rain. Auto jumble was held in an old hangar and was fairly large. All the key marques were represented by Owners Clubs and anything really old/special (heritage) was viewable in the centre (paved area) amongst the old RAF buildings. there was a short, tarmac figure-of-eight track on some which allowed some diplays of classic and very classic vehicles, some of which were driven around with some verve (the old Escort rally cars being a great example). The airfield is a working airfield for light aircraft and the local glider club. I fancy heading back there on a normal day when no event is taking place, to properly see what happens there. Don't worry - some appear to have 'lost' their registration plate anyway.

I have registered the club and will start a new topic when I receive the discount code.
