The AMHT is pleased to be working with the AMOC to organise the Celebration Display at each of the Club's Concours events. The Celebration Display will continue the format started by the Concours organisation team  in 2013, when we celebrated the 50th anniversary of the launch of the DB5 and consist of a line-up of specially invited cars together with some interesting items from the archive. A trophy will be presented to the car with the most relevance to Aston Martin history & heritage and all cars attending will receive a commemorative plaque, similar to those awarded to Concours winners.

The choice of car for the next Celebration Display at The Imperial War Museum Duxford is the Supercharged Vantage built between 1993 and 2000 which includes the V550, V600, Le Mans, Vantage Volante and Special Series forms. Entry is open to all Supercharged Vantages and it costs just £30 to enter. Please visit the AMHT website at http://www.amht.org.uk/t/CelebrationDisplay to find out more and to download the entry form. Our goal is to put on a fabulous display of these cars, the last of the truly hand built Aston Martins from Newport Pagnell, and we would like as many to be present as possible. We have a special area set aside for the display adjacent to the main Concours competitors and several cars are already confirmed. To confirm your place please return the entry form to Rob Smith by email at it@amht.org.uk or for more information, please call Rob on +44 (7770 982821

This is going to be great.  Let's see how many of these wonderful cars we can get together.

Also a good time to buy shares in Shell and the AA.

We now have 12 cars registered for the Celebration Display so we are going to put on a great show with several others promised too. If you intend to come but still haven't returned the entry form you can find it at http://www.amht.org.uk/AMHTDocs/CelebrationDisplayForm.pdf. Please return it to me at it@amht.org.

Our final numbers are 20 Supercharged Vantages in the Celebration Display including 2 Vantage Volantes and 3 Le Mans. Do come and find the display to study these magnificent cars. Look out for the blue & white AMHT tent against the perimeter fence opposite the American Hanger.

What is a 'special series' vantage ? I hadn't seen the term before and search on Tim C super comprehensive website were inconclusive.

What a fantastic part to a wonderful day of an amazing weekend.  Well done Rob and the AMHT team for getting prototype number 1 and production number 1 together for the first time:
