This will be the 5th historic Kop Hill Climb revival set in the Chiltern Hills on the edge of Princes Risborough HP27 0LB. Entries are coming in thick and fast so don't delay.

We are almost certain to be over-subscribed, especially post-war, so please provide any interesting details/history about your vehicle on the booking form which may help influence your chance of being accepted. Several Astons already confirmed. Apologies to anyone who fails to gain an entry. Don't forget you can always book into the paddock as a display vehicle.

The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight are booked for the Sunday. We had 14,000 spectators in 2012 and have donated over £125,000 to local charities in the last four years. Check our website for details at http://www.kophillclimb.info

The Brooklands Trust's Napier Railton will be running the hill this year. It's been road registered for the event! With a 60ft turning circle it will have to come back down the hill rather than cause a traffic jam in Risborough!

If you missed it at Goodwood, now's your chance to compare the sound of a W12 (Napier Lion) with several V12 Merlins.

This is a great event with some fantastic bikes and cars going up the hill and a few people entering into the spirit with period dress.

I have managed to bag a slot with my DBR2 Recreation so will be running up the hill on the Saturday and paddock display on the Sunday.

Kop Hill update.

Three weeks to go.

Still not too late to book into the paddock display. You could also turn up on the day and any "interesting vehicles" will be given the opportunity to park up in a seperate area close to the hill side.

Go to the Kop Hill website home page and click on Entrant Listing (on the green/top leftish) then click the List now (ignore filling in the empty boxes.) You'll see all the entries for both hill runs and paddock display and the day(s) booked. Only pre-war cars can run the hill both days. Be amazed!!!

If you further click on the Booking no. you may even get some history of the car/bike and a pretty picture if you're really lucky.

And we've a beer tent with Kop Hill bitter. Enjoy.

Like the AMOC, Kop Hill Climb was nominated and short listed at the International Motoring Awards Ceremony which was held at the The St. Pancras Renaissance London Hotel recently.

While Kop Hill Climb didn’t take the category win for Historic Motoring Event of the year, nevertheless we were congratulated many times over for becoming finalists in a list that included some exceptional world renown events.

For all those who attended this and past years events an enormous “Thank You” to you all for exceptional support that is now widely regarded as an excellent must attend event!

This year we have raised a further £55,000 (50% increase on last year) for 19 local charities bringing the total over 5 years to in excess of £190k. All done by dedicated teams of volunteers. No event organizer fees here!

Next years provisional date, 20th and 21st September. Keep an eye on our website.
