With a month to go before the Making the Marque car run, there is space for more Bertelli era cars if anyone has missed the details.

The 85 mile route through Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire by-roads links Feltham to Newport Pagnell and has been designed with the older cars in mind.  It includes stopping points at Aston Clinton and Ecurie Bertelli, where Andy Bell and his team are kindly hosting an open house.

The £75 package includes a traditional motoring breakfast at the start, lunch and afternoon tea for two people and a plate and souvenir brochure which contains some previously unpublished material.

A large contingent of Hanworth Park cars are already booked in but there is noticeable shortage of Victoria Road types.  That would be a pity as there are likely to be spectators who worked at the Feltham factories coming along to see the cars.

So why not take the opportunity to use your car again before this wonderful centenary year is over and the weather starts to change.  More details and an application form are here: "Making The Marque".

If you find anyone who worked at Victoria Road, please pin them down for interviews!
