I have had a call from member & DB9 owner Norman Hodges (Area 15?) who is involved in organising the parade on Saturday 18th September.  He is trying to assemble about 2 cars from each decade.
I understand the parade which will include more than just cars will be slow. Assemble Lathbury north of NP @ midday, parade c 1.30 , then reassemble @ Riverside Meadow south of NP to 3.30 pm.

His particular wants at the moment are:

Wedge
Vanquish
Latest DBS
DB2 & DB2/4 MK III?

although I think he is open to suggestions and larger numbers eg.

Rapide both 1950's and modern
DBSV8
Virage
etc.

Anybody interested?  Might be an opportunity for a diverse group to meet up in NP & perhaps have a bevvy afterwards.

Could be another outing for my new toy.
Still undecided whether to go for a 77 Series 3 V8 which is mechanically sound but needs  some TLC in other areas or a 1980 O.I in much better condition bodywork wise but an extra £15K  ??? Any advice would be appreciated

Nah.... Why go for bits of wooden interior and a 'Johnny come lately' flip tail when you could a have the purity of line and proper Spartan trad Aston look of the Series III?

What no Vanquish?  - There just has to be representation of the greatest and last vehicle ever to be built at the mighty NP factory...?

There is to be a Vanquish, donated I believe by a local AM Specialist, Desmond Smail. Should be a good day out. The sun is shining and so is The Oscar  ;D

Marvellous event! Loads of wonderful cars of all types & eras. The streets of NP were lined with spectators.
Well done to Norman for suggesting/organising it.
I'll post some pics later.

ps. Great to meet you Steve and love the car!

Indeed was a fantastic day. Very humbled to drive along the High St and Tickford St with what seemed like a million people staring and commenting.

Nice meeting you to Roger, love The Wedge.

Also had a very good chat with Mark Donoghue
