A bit early maybe, but is there another Virages Of All Guises Road Association event planned for this spring? Last time really was a great experience.
I'm happy to help out with the organisation if it's appriciated.

If i can get to Ancona in a day Switzerland should be a doodle?
If you have a tom tom just put in your destination and it will calculate how long it will take to get there using all the speed limits
for you

According to TomTom its 7 1/2 hours from Calais to Zurich as a guide. So doable but a long drive.

I'd add another hour to that for traffic and comfort brake's (as they are called now) or grass verge's? ;D

seems like a long way then really. even if we caught an early train at 8.30 or something we would be out the other end at 10 so only have about 5 hours driving with some stops allowed. i dont want to thrash the heck out of it.
where might that get us. or is zurich doable

I reckon Switzerland could be a long one for a weekend. How about we get a list of potential participants and then figure a likely area thats kind of half way for everyone.

So far:

Nick and Anj (UK)

Feel free to add to the list.

It would be great to have another Viagra Tour. But unlike 2008 I think I will not be able to participate in organizing this time, all due to work and family circumstances (don't underestimate the time it takes to organize a thing like this) It was a hell of a job to eat in all the restaurants :-)

But I will be present if possible

I love to organize stuff (and I'm not a mommy yet, so plenty of time ) so I am willing to take the lead here. Milo and Jeroen set high standards with their Zeeland edition so I'm up for a challenge!

I live in an area called de Utrechtse Heuvelrug (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Utrechtse_Heuvelrug), and in my opinion, it's a stunningly pretty place with lots to see and great places to dine.

Since the AMOC agenda around May is already quite full, I'd like to suggest to move the VIAGRA event to the end of the summer.

Please let me know your thoughts.

If it's August we'll wave as we go to Purmerend and come back from Oldberkoop.

Sounds great that you are willing to take the lead. I am happy to assist in any way. I have no idea of the area but looks good. I am flexible on dates and as you say May is busy. Once we get a likely list of participants in a few days we can nail down a date offline and then repost with a bit more info.
