Mr Toad
Now that Mr Toad Is a member of the Illustrious Vanquish Clan,I would like to suggest a reunion on the Anniversary of the closure of Sunnyside at Newport Pagnell,to be held at Works Service.

I had the Joy of attending the charity day at Works service & a tour of the works across the road, this last spring,& think this would be a fitting venue for a gathering of like minded owners.

A good idea Geoff, I am sure Works will be supportive of this.

Btw, more on the Clan records towards the end of the month, as indicated in August.

I like being in a Clan, It makes me feel wanted - Although I'm not Scottish and maybe we should think of a better collective term for a "Group" of Vanqui ?

Horde? Mob? Pack? Cacophony? Posse ?

What about an Armoury of Vanqui ?

Collective noun should be a 'clutch of Vanqui', or is this a sore point?

Just back in Athens after attending CoM and visiting Newport Pagnell. The sight of watching Sunnyside without the Aston Martin and Lagonda flags proudly displayed indicated that  we are now imminently close to the handover date.

Phil, it is a smelly point if you "do" it often  ;D

Oi - I thought you were about to join the "Dark Side" ? Maybe we'll become more like the BRDC, Membership cannot simply be bought, you have to invited, and only after qualification by other members.....

Funny handshakes and trouser legs at half mast and all that stuff  ..........Oh no what have I done, please lets not do a whole masonic debate thing !!! (I'm Sorry)...
