Bonhams Auction and Concours will almost certainly be one weekend in May.

as an aside, given the comments on Normandy celebrations: 4% of the sand in the beaches of Normandy is left-overs from D-Day.

£verything seems to have become rather quiet regarding the forthcoming VIAGRA tour. Is it definitely on?
If so, is someone investigating hotels near Honfleur; is someone preparing an itinerary of events and has a decision been made regarding which ferry service will be used
i.e. will we travel from Portsmouth to Le Havre or Ouistreham, or from Dover to Calais either by ferry or through the pipe?
Alternatively it might be an idea to travel on the fast ferry to Cherbourg and then take a drive down the peninsular then westward to Honfleur (I reckon about 140 miles)

yes its on Astro and i think the 31st is the date and i am going to look at hotels this week.
there will be a fair few of us going dover calais and then down the coast road and before that meeting up with our euro counterparts over the border.
i think we will more than likely do the tunnel both ways as it buys us more time.

Russell, another question, has it been decided whether non Virage derivatives may participate, or is that dependent upon the level of support from true Viagra cars?
Quote 0 0
Russell
yes anyone can join but a preference for V cars as that's what it started out as. it has turned into a nice jolly trip with a group of friends but we want to try to keep the number of V's up

OK Russell, thanks for the info. I am not yet sure whether I can participate, so will have to make a decision nearer the time and when more details are available. I was thinking of taking my DB5 instead of the Virage Volante, 'cos there is a lot of work being done on it at present which should be completed by May / June time.
However, as you say the Viagra tour was all about Virages when it all started, so I guess I should bring the wide bodied 6.3 if I can come.  I makes a splendid exhaust sound too, so that should impress bystanders.

Sorry for the silence, still traveling.
If we do the 31st, I will certainly abuse my birthday on Monday the 3rd as an excuse for a celebration weekend
