Looks like a great meeting of V8's and American cars. Just a shame about those Virage's and derivatives.....

Only joking. looks like a great event. Will you be doing a write-up, Tim? I look forward to reading about it. And the reason why keith has started to wear underwear...

Many thanks to the organisers for such a super job on arranging the tour and getting exactly the right balance between driving and time spent together as a group. I really enjoyed the weekend and now have the job with Waldek of editing some 48 hours of film down to a manageable DVD of the event.

Thanks also to the province of Zeeland for all those wonderful speed bumps. Perhaps if you are in the neighbourhood Jeroen, you could retreive the underside of my car.

if i was honest i did try to manouvre myself in the queue behind you as it was better than in car entertainment. and to end up with your centre box looking like it had knitted its own wooly cardigan was enspiring. although i am sure F****ing expensive....
i agree totally, such a perfect balance for everything and the meals so well organised to provide something for everyone and all delivered at a perfect pace. i never felt rushed ever, just wandering from one great expereince to the next. excellent stuff.

for those that didnt do the trip back and witness the truck blow out 2 foot from the side window, i am still karchering the interior so that it doesnt smell like we stole a muck spreader....
24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case, coincidence ? i think not.

@ Steve: After 10 minutes of waiting outside the carpark I concluded that you either fell asleep already or kept up the tradition of V8 technical trouble

Sorry about that ! I didn't fall asleep, but my electrics did (well, the rear lights anyway). At that time of night I thought I better try to fix them. Martijn was very nearly called into action, but I'm pleased to say I didn't need to drag him away from the bar. It would have been particularly embarrasing  :-[ after all the talk about the Virage unreliability and the need for the truck if I was the only one who used it, but all was well in the end !

Looking forward to catching up with all the Viagra participants in the very near future !

indeed steve, all that talk about virage unreliability and it was a V8 that nearly bit the dust. even the pontiac aircraft carrier made it through the rally course. hope all ok now and great to meet you.

What a great tool (the image viewer ... not Russ  ;D ;D).
Can't wait for the next installment (suffering withdrawal symptoms already).
Thanks for uploading so many great pics - a great way to be reminded of a great tour.

wedgie it was hoot and fair play to Jeroen and Milo for the fantastic on the ground organisation that bought excellent entertainment in with an incredible cost that i am not sure we could emulate elsewhere so fair play to the dutch as a nation for accepting anything but great value for money. everything that went into the recipe worked a treat especially the people, but thats the virage and those that love it. mainly for what it isnt maybe ;D

VIAGRA-enthusiasts are advised to pay a visit to Keith's website http://www.aston-martin-virage.co.uk now and then because new pictures are still being uploaded occasionally.

Too late for this year's Oscars, but the Viagra 2008 video is now ready for despatch this week.

I have Jeroen's, Keith's and Russell's addresses, and now need the addresses of the other participants so I can send their copies off. Email to :

michaelniwot@shaw.ca

I made it 12 cars in all, including the Mercedes and Pontiac, that participated, and am making 12 copies in total. The sooner I have your addresses, the quicker I can get these off.

Have you not received yours yet? That's a bit worrying.
