Next May over the weekend of 10th and 11th the Lynton and Barnstaple Railway are holding a Vintage weekend. As the railway closed in 1935 they are looking for cars of this era, ie pre WW2, to put on a show in the main carpark at Woody Bay (just outside Lynton). More modern Astons will also be most welcome but they will be sited in the overflow carpark, a grass field on a slope. Advantages of attending will be free admission to the Gala, free tea and coffee and the oppertunity to ride in one of our restored heritage coaches (these are being restored in North Essex).
Addmission to the main and overflow carparks will be by a car pass only.
If you are interested please e-mail me on dmichaeldee@aol.com with your name, contact details and vehicle details.

While I don't have a pre-war Aston I love preservation railways so it's always interesting to see what you are up to.
Good luck with the event.
