This is also 4th May, at the Warren Golf Club, Woodham Walter CM9 6RW.
That is east Essex, near Maldon.
Although the first edition of the event, there is a fair old entry with a complete class of Astons as a '100 year' tribute.
£20 per car inc. passengers for Classic Cars (pre parking in the Special Classic Car Park
or £10 a head and park free
Public admitted from 10.30 and an air acrobatic display at 3.30.

They did roll up, roll up and in good numbers!  The first running of this event seems to have been a success based on the number and variety of wonderful cars that were on display, plus what appeared to be good support from the paying public.

The Aston class winner was the  DB5 of Gary Vidler just in front of Sandy and Gaye Doggart's 2/4. An interesting appearence from the Speed Model from 1936 - the car that was wrecked at the Belgian Grand Prix at Spa, killing Dick Stallebrass. Car of the show was  a Ferrari 250 Lusso. A ggod day out with a great aerobatics display thrown in.
Organiser and sponsors were pleased and it will run next year, I'm certain.
Next Concours date is Greenwich, with the Double Twelve at Brooklands in June. We need 8 day weeks and 3 day weekends....

Wonder if attendance was affected by M25 problems?
